Space Arcade – Model 2SA

A new take of the edgy, arcane, harsh and pumping pulse wave synth called “Edges” made once by Mutable Instruments

The 2AS at its core provides 4 fully CV-controlled 8-BIT chiptune style voices.
Each voice has a pitch CV input , a gate , audio FM and a coarse pitch knob.
There is hard sync from 1to2 and ring mod from 1to2 and 1to3 available
Voice 4 is a digital pseudo random noise generator
All outs are being summed in a diode clipper distortion stage and are limited to 1.7V

And for the extra level of Space feeling we put in a powerful effect engine providing Reverb, Delay , 24 bit crushing a chorus and two wave folding engines to power your drones.
This engine is our first endeavor into the Daisy ecosystem and will only grow bigger over time.

We also added Midi IN to play each voice with external keyboards or sequencers.

MIDI Learn: Press this button and send a midi note. The device will use that channel as the base channel
MIDI Mode: This button cycles between four operational modes.

1. 4 single voices trigger on 4 midi channels starting on the base MIDI channel
2. Full Poly mode where each voice plays on a different note on the same midi channel
3. Limited Poly or Chord mode where only the first three voices are used
4. UNISON .. all four voices play a monophonic but brutal crescendo
